ICBC may cover up to 12 counselling sessions after a motor vehicle accident.

• A referral from your doctor or another healthcare provider is required.

• Coverage depends on ICBC’s approval process, and not all requests are granted.

• If approved, sessions are billed directly to ICBC at their set rate.

• If coverage is not granted, you may still be able to use extended health benefits or private pay.

We’ll provide the receipts and any required documentation. You’ll submit directly to ICBC or your insurance provider.
