Meet Jasmine Shivji

With over 25 years of experience, Jasmine brings a rare and powerful integration of three disciplines: Occupational Therapy, Clinical Counselling, and Vocational Rehabilitation. This combination allows her to evaluate the full spectrum of physical, emotional, cognitive, and vocational functioning — through a biopsychosocial lens grounded in clinical expertise.
Jasmine is the developer of both the PsychoEmotional Cognitive Functional Capacity Evaluation and the Functional Capacity Screen Work Evaluation (FCSWE) — groundbreaking assessments designed for clients with layered or invisible injuries, such as post-concussion syndrome, chronic pain, and psychological trauma.
She has been qualified as an expert witness in the Supreme Courts of British Columbia, has completed over 1,000 medico-legal evaluations, and is the co-author of the clinical text Functional Capacity Evaluations: A Clinician’s Guide (2006). Jasmine remains at the forefront of innovation in complex injury assessment and strategic case development.
